Hey everyone!!!

Thank you so much for your patience this month. I have had a little bit of a bumpy start to the month (nothing major but not great head game!) but everything seems to be getting better. I really do appreciate your continuing support and this month will be full of process bits and bobs, sorting through my illustration work (old & new) before I head to Edinburgh, and more character illustration :)

Neocolor 2, holbein pencil & derwent drawing pencil.

For now, here’s a nice long video for ya. While I was in Ireland with Ed last month, I got a few sketches done but I didn’t do as much as I thought I would. To be honest it was bliss to spend quality time with Eddy boi, swim in the sea loads, the occasional coastal hike and listening to Irish trad music in pubs. Oh, and the animals!!!! I think we saw a heron almost every day (for 3 weeks), loads of sea birds (guillemots, fulmars, cormorants, puffins!!!), donkeys, loads of adorable dogs (Irish people have the BEST dogs hands down), and the odd zen cat. Seeing Ed interact with animals is proof to me that he’s an animal in disguise. My particular suspicion is that he’s a Selkie (a shape shifting seal), who came out of the sea many years ago and is just doing the human thing for a bit before he swims away.

Graphite pencil.
